Ah, great pub. Although main bar section very tiny, and only Ian Rankine and chums allowed in.
yes - a thoroughly good, unpretentious place. main bar small and crowded with regulars as you say but not at all unfriendly. seats to spare in the back room and a top place for a drink and a chat in general.
