Well at least the telly's not #### this time of year

(forgive the ## prudery but am typing this in an extremely corporate environment). Rome pretty good, Bleak House impressively techno-fied and The Thick of It just superb (tho last night's final episode the weakest of the 2nd series I think).

Haven't seen any of them, sadly. But hurrah to Kevin McKidd for being in Rome

strongly suggest heading over to uknova and downloading "the thick of it" as it is very, very funny. chris langham good as always and peter capaldi in an astonishing alastair campbell type role. it's *really* funny.

Yes, I saw one or two of the first series and was very impressed. Can't believe I've missed the entire second series - they don't seem to have been that well trailed. Obviously I've never been in the corridors of power and so am no judge, but it feels incredibly authentic and credible.
