Lewis!

Pretty well done I thought, a welcome return. Didn't really engage with the plot but summertime Oxford is extremely easy on the eye at the dog end of January...

Yes, I saw this. I thought the plot was weak, tired and implausible (another story about a brilliant scientist committing mass murder through professional jealousy). Kevin Whately does his bit, but the hole left by John Thaw's Morse is gaping. Still, very nice to see Oxford looking so lovely.

On the Late Review on Friday, someone made the point that ITV is in a poor state when, five years after the last Morse, they can't come up with a original drama of comparable stature.
