I saw Clerks II earlier this evening. Doesn't have the freshness of the original, and is very uneven in tone with a disappointingly soppy, and deeply unconvincing, romantic plot line. However, the characters are all there and the climatic scene with the donkey is spectacular - genuinely laughout loud funny.

Still not seen this - still very keen to! Jay and Silent Bob are icons for our generation (as are Dante and Randall of course).

I read somewhere that Kevin Smith listed all of his MySpace friends in the end credits...

A couple of months ago they were re-doing the walls of Oxford Circus tube station. Every few days the process would reveal an old advertising poster from years ago. For a while I walked past the poster for the original Clerks on my way to work every morning - which was strangely disorientating. I was going to take a picture and post it on the Flickr page, but I was too self conscious in the rush hour crowds.
