Google have recently bought
keyhole.com - a firm specializing in satellite imaging - and have integrated the images with their own
mapping functionality. It's pretty amazing - you can click on the "satellite" link at pretty much any zoom level to see the view from space. Unfortunately only US & Canada are covered in detail so far - it'll be brilliant when you can zoom in on Charlotte St...

That's fab. Hope they do a European one. It's all down to Clinton freeing up the GPS satellites for commercial use.
