I love it. Brings back memories of the self-referential driving game in Kinross service station, which made such an impression on us all those years ago.
The racing car you drove had a Sonic the Hedgehog toy hanging from the mirror.
So, not exactly self-referential, but it showed highly sophisticated levels of awareness and post-modern pranksterism. At the time, we were wildly impressed.
