Didn't make it, sorry to say. Not 100% on what's happening to the Venue but strongly suspect that - similarly to everything else - it's being turned into luxury flats. Shame they can't keep Pure on, these flat complexes always boast gyms and concierge facilities but very rarely banging, strongly Detroit influenced techno clubs.
So, along with the Oxford Canal Boatyard, we lose Pure to the developers. I fear we will spend the second half of our lives watching capitalism destroy all that was good and important in our first half.
Yes, will be half-way there in a few weeks. I guess you've just done yours? Difficult to feel optimistic about next 35 what with all the goings on in the world.
