The most happy European countries have smaller carbon footprints, according to NEF. Although we don't all have Iceland's geo-thermal resources, there's probably something in this.
Yes, I'm all too willing to believe it, even if I've never been there or know much about it. Maybe it's just me, or has something to do with the clocks changing, but so much about modern urban life in this country is just so bloody stressful, exhausting and miserable.
I know what you mean. There seems to be a general sense of unease and disappointment in the air at the moment - is that just me, or does anyone else agree? And I don't think it's the clocks changing, because (perversely) this is one of my favourite times of year!
