yeah - it's pretty good. does everything you need an office suite to do really. the main catch is if you are working in an environment where you are frequently exchanging files with MS Office users - Open Office supports the MS Office file formats pretty well but there are inevitably glitches.

that could knock a couple of hundred quid of the new laptop I need...
